Choice #2 is a Portable Laser device which requires the operator to move to the event's circle center at the conclusion of the event to measure the legal throw

 

Portable laser device: $2500 Requires operator to move to event's ciricle radius to measure each throw. Includes Disto laser, tripod and target.

Choice #3 is The Disto Laser device only. Use for high jump and pole vault. Set the offset feature in the menu to add the diameter of the crossbar and the vertical measurement is actually to the top of the crossbar.
