The Disto Classic
1. The Disto CLASSIC way - for Pole Vault and High Jump height. Simply set the offset mode of the CLASSIC to add the diameter of the crossbar, pull the PV standards and crossbar back to zero, beam the laser from the runway up to the crossbar, and press the measure button for height. For the HJ, place the CLASSIC on the runway below the middle area of the crossbar, beam the laser up to the crossbar and press the measure button for height.

The Portable E-Measure
2. The Portable E-Measuring way - An efficient, highly accurate way to measure the "long throws" without the hassles of normal tape measure work. Requires the operator to move to the circle center following a legal throw, setting the offset to subtract the event circle radius, aiming the laser beam on the target established by a helper out in the sector, and pressing the measure button to get the distance.

The LASAM® Accessory Scoreboard
3. The LASAM® way - Total station track and field measuring apparatus and method (US Patent No. 6,714,284 B 2, Date March 30, 2004). Set the LASAM® at a remote location outside the event protective net, select the "long throw" event to be measured, shoot the circle center for a reference point, and when ready, use the scope to sight the laser beam on the target established by a helper out in the sector area. Then press the measure button and the microprocessor instantly determines the distance of the thrown implement. Owner-friendly and user-friendly, the LASAM® device provides fast and accurate measurements for all the "long throws." The complete unit lists @ $5995. Also available is an accessory scoreboard having its own 12V power system to instantly show the measured distance. This option lists @ $2750. This complete system was used in 2004 championship competitions which included the Kansas Relays, Drake Relays, Big Ten at Purdue University, D-2 NAIA in Louisville Kentucky, D-3 MIAC at St. Olaf College, Luther College Norse Relays, plus several additional track and field competitions at the high school and college level in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Hammer Throw Insert
Hammer Throw Insert
Originally used in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games. The three-piece iron ring design easily assembles on site and fits tightly into an existing discus ring with nine tension bolts. The open areas between the ID of the discus ring and the OD of the insert are filled with nine pieces of solid material providing a smooth transition from the approach area to the 7' hammer competition ring. A solid ring feel is then established which Atlanta Olympians appreciated. This solid ring also removes the warping and shrinking traits of current synthetic puzzle piece inserts. Price - $545

Synthetic Jump Boards
Mondo Super X Jump Boards
Long-lasting alternative to the standard wooden take-off board. National Federation rules permit the use of synthetic boards. Glue this material directly to the base concrete/asphalt runway and install the rubber track material surface up to and around the synthetic board. Highly resistant to track spikes and will not rot and crack like wood.
Choose from the Mondo Super X material in light gray. Specs are 10 mm thickness and a high school approved size of 16" x 42" priced at $225.
